On Tuesday, Oct 26th, the Concord City Council approved an exclusive negotiating agreement with a CNWS developer group which includes the Seeno companies.
CCA is going to continue to resist - and you can help us by completing the following very short survey.
Background
In the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct 26th, a crowd delivered the Reverse the Seeno Decision! petition with more 1,800 to City Council members. More than 1,000 of the signers were identifiable as Concord voters. Just a few hours later, the Concord City Council unanimously approved the Seeno developer team and an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (ENA) for them. That agreement does not not restrict campaign contributions to any of the council members from any of the developers or their subsidiaries.
Next steps!
Approval of the Seeno exclusive negotiating agreement shows Concord is headed in the wrong direction. It’s pretty clear that the only way to change direction in Concord is to elect new City Council members. Concord is home and we need to undo the status quo and work to elect leaders who will listen to their constituents. At least one candidate has already been identified.
Please help us with next steps by completing the following very short survey.
The survey has 5 questions - we only ask for your contact info on Q1 (and that contact info is important!).
