Here's some information about being a CCA member
There's a lot you can do to contribute as a member, so feel free to pick the level of involvement that works for you. We are very glad to have you with us.
Membership, in brief
- Members who are residents of Concord can vote in CCA elections. These are "voting members".
- Members who are not residents of Concord can also make important contributions! These are "supporting members".
The only difference is that resident members can vote in CCA elections. Supporting members can participate in any event and activity - and remember, at CCA we try to make most decisions by consensus. All members have a voice in establishing a consensus.
Membership is a commitment to be an active contributor. We do ask for a small financial contribution, but if this is a hardship it can be offset with other contributions and support. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. A link to our member contribution form will be included with the email confirming your CCA membership.
We ask that you provide your email, phone and street address when joining CCA. We don't share this information outside of CCA, but it does help us with organizing. Our newsletters are electronic, so most messages from CCA won't be sent by regular mail.
If you own a small business in Concord but are not a resident, please join CCA using your business address and send us a message to let us know. CCA doesn't have organizational memberships, so you are joining as an individual. We welcome small Concord business owners who share our vision, values and commitment to Concord.
